Hello, Asgardians, Rebekah here!
With the release of our new discussion forums, the need for balanced moderation is growing. There are over 100 new areas that need monitored and guided. Forum Moderators do more than enforce rules. They are also Content Creators. They start lively, creative discussions and help the group stay engaged.
There will be an application process and an interview. Training will be provided. This is a long-term VOLUNTEER position. We hope to work with our staff for months to come.
Recruiting Period: 1st week in JAN 2017, ends SAT 07 JAN 2017 23:59 p.m.
Volunteers Needed: 30
Duration: Long-term (6+ months)
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/day; 7-10 hours/week.
Desired Experience: Very good use of the English Language (bilingual is a bonus), have some experience using Facebook groups and pages as well as Internet discussion forums. Able maintain a calm, professional, diplomatic manner when confronted with debate. Ability to multi-task. Ability to work well with a team. Be reliable and dependable.
Position Overview: Manage member participation in online discussion groups and social media. Produce topical content that engages members and encourages positive, constructive conversation which contributes to a positive impression of Asgardia.
