As many Asgardians now know... the Parliamentary elections have essentially started over. That is... the vote count has been reset to 0. I'm not exactly certain why this has happened, nor do I agree with the decision. I feel that the Asgardians who already voted for their candidate(s) during the first round did their civic duty. Now, they're being asked to do it a second time, and I'm concerned that many of them won't find out they're being asked to vote a second time for their candidate(s) before the voting period is over. I think the decision to do this will have drastic effects on the voter turnout. In turn, the voting results might end up much different than the first round of voting produced. I also feel this vote count reset is unfair to candidates that worked hard to get votes in the first round. Life isn't fair of course, but I just don't see any logical reason this decision was made. But, I'm also not privy to all of the information that was used to come to this decision by the founder of Asgardia and other top level executives of our nation. So, I'll leave my discontent at what I've said and nothing more. As I like to say in such situations I have no control over... "it is what it is". The elections move forward! :) And it goes without saying... if you voted for me during the first round (thank you!), please vote for me again NOW as voting ends soon! I'd appreciate your support.
Next, I want everyone to know that I did pay my Parliamentary election fee ON TIME. That seems to be the type of news that most candidates are expressing the past day, so I felt maybe I should clarify that I did in fact pay my fee already too. I'm serious about my campaign, and representing the citizens of Asgardia so I did everything required of me as a candidate on time.

Humans have within us the desire for greatness. Yet, we're bound by self limiting chains we've put on ourselves. We've made ourselves slaves within our own societies. Most of us work jobs we hate to earn money that allows us to survive, and we exist. Many of us don't truly live at all. We exist. We dream. We hope for a better future that would take us away from this dull and mundane existence that we call life here on Earth. With all of Earth's splendor and beauty, not many of us get to delight in what it offers. Until humans release ourselves from the shackles of the barbaric oppressive systems we've grown accustomed to, nothing will change.
Space. Beautiful. Unchained. Dreams Abound. Possibilities Endless.
Many of us Asgardians have a deep and profound love for space and the adventure it can hold. We look at Asgardia as offering the possibility to correct many of the mistakes we've made on Earth. We want to explore, to learn. Space is truly the new frontier that offers a whole world of possibilities. The exciting unknown. We can achieve great things together, but only if we don't ever feel our dreams are to big, or unattainable. If you can dream it, it is possible. But, we must act. For dreams and ideas are just ideas, until they're made real with actions.
Asgardia offers a unique opportunity to shed some of the wrongs of humanity in a new space kingdom. But, only if our vision is united. We can explore, and research. But, only if we're creative in our quests. We must take action and not just speak beautiful and moving words. For that will not change our future. Fortune favors the bold, and Asgardia is a new adventure that can define humanity going in to the future.
